At the VNC Board meeting on March 17, 2009 Ira Koslow announced the March 25 REC meeting at Extra Space Storage (community room) 658 Venice Blvd., Venice (just east of Abbot Kinney on the south side of Venice Blvd.) where, he claimed, the many complaints re: the Feb. 21 OPD election would be reviewed and improvements made on the voting process etc. and, apparently, in spite of these many complaints and election irregularities, the vote still stands.
No reference was made to this intention in the VNC Board meeting synopsis on the VNC website (except for the meeting scheduled on the VNC calendar). We need to request that VNC places this information on their website to inform the general public, who did not attend last Tuesday’s meeting, as they deserve to know what is happening in Venice, if they were unable to attend the meeting. Please contact VNC now to let them know we need to be informed about this issue and other important issues affecting Venice stakeholders.
Email VNC at: outreach@VeniceNC.org to let them know that they must provide more transparency on this and other issues to the general public.
