Hello, My name is Blanca Martinez a Master of Social Work Student at California State University Northridge. As a class assignment for our macro class, we are conducting a community assessment on the city of Venice with a focus on the homeless population. We are seeking agencies, representatives, and individuals who work with this population or know about the issue, that they can provide us with information on this issue in the community of Venice. On behalf of the Social Work Students at CSUN we would greatly appreciate any information anybody can provide via phone to better understand this issue. Thank you for your time.

St. Joseph’s Center is probably the best source of information on the homeless population in Venice. http://www.stjosephctr.org/
You can also try Occupy Venice Beach, they provide meals at the beach on a regular basis. http://ovb.so/
Good luck with your study!
